January 15, 2019 (Stuart, Florida) – Big Five Tours & Expeditions the award-winning adventure and sustainable travel operator has struck gold with its recently launched Kids Kouncil™, a junior think tank created by Big Five to discover what children, ages 6 to 15, see as important to them, guiding the company in creating extraordinary itineraries for family travel.

The just launched itinerary, ‘India Kids Kouncil™ Approved,’ the first in this collection, includes experiences ranging from exploring the natural habitat of tigers in Panna National Park, to visiting the one-of-a-kind Sulabh International Museum of Toilets, to a fun and thrilling family Segway tour through New Delhi.

“I had a Eureka moment as I watched these kids working together to create the first of its kind ‘India Kids Kouncil™ Approved’ adventure.” said Ashish Sanghrajka, President of Big Five Tours & Expeditions, “That told me that we were on the right track. If you want to change the world, start out on a positive path that inspires confidence and creativity with the ones who will one-day be in charge. Let them see that their opinions can make a difference now and they will be more willing to lead the changes of the future. That is what our Kids Kouncil™ initiative is really all about.”

This 13-day itinerary also encompasses learning about conservation efforts in Panna National Park from conservation biologist Dr. Raghu Chundawat, revealing how to understand the park’s ecosystem, lay camera traps and keep track of the park’s tigers and other wildlife. Families discover the world of Indian elephants at the Elephant Conservation and Care Centre in Agra, and are introduced to sloth bears under care of the Agra Bear Rescue Facility, the largest of its kind for sloth bears in the world. In the cultural realm, they visit the ancient Abhaneri step wells, dating back to the ninth century, were used as the baths and reservoirs of the royal. They take a ride on a generator-powered ‘Juggaad’, a truly eccentric local transport. Another unique experience is a visit to a shop that specializes in restoring classic Enfield motorcycle and Willys Jeeps that look like they might have come off a World War II movie set. India’s rich cultural traditions are introduced through a puppet-making workshop in Jaipur, where they meet artisans who create delightful decorative puppets.

Land price, double occupancy for India Kids Kouncil™ Approved: From US $800 per person, per day, with a minimum of 4 travelers required.
