The journey to get here was both uncomfortable and invaluable. Imagine laying every financial record, business practice, and core structure bare, full and candid disclosure, placing yourself in the hands of an organization dedicated to testing your integrity and your social and economic responsibility. It was one of the hardest challenges we’ve ever faced. Taking a leap of faith, knowing that what this company has always stood for would be put under a microscope, meant no stone left unturned, no page unexamined. Much like sitting in a dentist’s chair, hearing the whir of a drill, you know it’s coming and it must be done. Over eight months, we rode a rollercoaster of twists, dips, and sharp turns, holding on tightly and trusting the buckle was secure, sitting by the edge of our seats.
How rare is this certification? Out of approximately 357 million businesses worldwide, fewer than 10,000 are Certified B Corporations, spanning 103 countries and 160 industries, and we can proudly say: We did it!
