Alwin Schuler
Alwin Schuler has always had wide-ranging interests. Prior to becoming a journalist, he studied both law and journalism at Universidad Andrés Bello. He worked in journalism for several years before his interest turned to tourism. He began his career nearly 20 years ago as a tour guide. He has been Big Five Tours & Expeditions’ chief guide since 2008. His knowledge about the Chilean central valley qualifies him as one of the best guides in the field. His specialties are the wineries, geography, Chilean history, economics and politics. He adapts each journey to the guest’s interests, making every adventure an experience beyond expectations. Alwin is eager to share his Chile with Big Five’s guest and fluent in English.
