The Serengeti National Park is the most popular and oldest national park in Tanzania. Visitors can explore the landscape and observed Africa’s natural wonders in their natural environment. The plants and animals exist the exact same way that they have for thousands of years. This divers mix of predators and prey coexist in a natural balance which is undisturbed by man. A few animals you might observe in the park are African lions, black rhinoceroses, elephants, leopards and buffalos. If you are a bird lover, there are also hundreds of different bird species that call the park home.

An exciting time to visit the park is during the annual wildebeest migration. From December to July, thousands of wildebeests instinctively travel in search of food, water and potential mates. Zebras and other savanna grazers are known to accompany the wildebeests on their journey. The number of animals all traveling together is an amazing sight indeed.
