Considered by many as the finest Villa on the East Africa coast, the Cliff Villa overlooks the Indian Ocean and its elevated position ensures privacy and stunning view. The large veranda with hand carved sofas dominates the front of the villa; a stretch swimming pool sits on the edge of a small cliff merging into the sea and the horizon. The Cliff Villa would not be suitable for 4 couples, but ideal for families. The turret suite has 270- degree view of the sea and must rate as one of the top five most romantic bedrooms ever, on the first floor we have 2 double rooms with their private veranda and 1 twin room on the ground floor. Private dining is a la carte, served al fresco or in your villa – your choice, as too is the cuisine. The Chief’s House has three bedrooms, each with a king size or twin beds and the finest bed linens. Each bedroom has an en suite bathroom and dressing room.  Family owned, The Chief’s House is a huge three bedroom villa that is beautifully designed, styled and furnished. There is lots of space, ambiance and privacy for a family or group of friends to enjoy. There are breathtaking views of the rolling mountains and rugged hills of northern Kenya and our private 40,000-acre Ol Lentille Conservancy. There is a fully equipped kitchen across the courtyard from the dining room, where your personal butler will serve delicious food prepared by our talented chef. Our private wildlife reserve is home to elephants, greater kudu, African wild dogs, leopard, and the endangered Grevy’s zebra to name but a few. The Chiefs House comes with exclusive use of a 4×4 private safari vehicle and your own personal Maasai guide ensuring maximum privacy and allowing you to experience our special part of Laikipia at your own pace. Your guide will accompany you on all activities outside the lodge and you will learn all about their culture, history and traditions whilst they show you their ancient lands.

As the houses are exclusive-use properties, you’re free to design your own itinerary. Options for activities include game drives, night drives, nature walks, photographic safaris and cultural excursions to local Maasai villages.
